The Lymphoma Research Foundation of America
LRFA is not just devoted to high quality, lymphoma-related research. It has a network of educational and emotional support programs and is a leader in lymphoma patient advocacy, raising awareness through National Lymphoma Awareness Week. American Cancer Society
One of the oldest and largest voluntary health organizations in the United States, the American Cancer Society is a nationwide organization that is community based and devoted to the elimination of cancer, the improvement of quality of life and saving lives through research, education, advocacy and service. The organization provides a comprehensive Web site covering all forms of cancer and offers excellent material about lymphoma and cancer treatment by mail or online.

National Cancer Institute
Established under the National Cancer Act of 1937, the NCI is the federal government's primary agency for cancer research and training. It is part of the National Institutes of Health, one of the eight agencies that compose the Public Health Service. In additional to the tremendous amount of research information posted for medical professional use, the NCI has created CancerNet, a user friendly section where patients and professionals can find the information they need.

Cure for Lymphoma Foundation
Dedicated to the phrase "Together we can ease the burden and find a cure," the CLF is a survivor-founded site devoted to the funding of lymphoma research and support of lymphoma patients and families. The organization has many helpful booklets available online or free of charge through the mail. Of particular note is the CLF's "The More You Know" series covering specific topics in depth (i.e., nutrition and cancer). Also keep watch for the completion and release of its Lymphoma Library online.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Formerly the Leukemia Society of America, the organization recently changed its name in recognition of its deep concern about a "dramatic and inexplicable rise in lymphoma rates during the last 25 years." It is a voluntary organization recognized as a nationwide leader in the fight against leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma.
